Contemporary Dance takes the basics of Ballet, Jazz and Modern Dance to create its unique performance.

Contemporary Improvisation:
This guided workshop explores improvisation as a mindful journey to rediscover space, movement, sound, and our own dancing bodies. We will create a safe atmosphere of support and creative exploration to find our own artistic expressiveness through dance. Through a series of guided exercises, we will deepen our awareness of the present moment, cultivating a sense of play, spontaneity, and connection with ourselves and others. By exploring different movement qualities, dynamics, and rhythms, we will unlock new ways of expressing emotions, stories, and ideas through the body. Open to movers of all levels, this workshop encourages curiosity and individual creativity while also fostering group synergy. Whether you are new to improvisation or an experienced dancer, you will be invited to explore movement with fresh perspectives, challenge habitual patterns, and embrace the joy of discovery.

Contemporary Partnerwork:
In this Contemporary Partnerwork workshop we will investigate the basics on how to connect our dancing with someone else's. You´ll look at concepts such as tuning in with a partner, building trust, sharing energies and weights, both on and off the ground. You will start with simple excercises to condition the body and build familiarity with the idea of dancing with a partner, both through set scores and improvisation. You will also learn new skills and, in the end, learn a short choreography to apply all those principles.
