Skikurs 02 - Issing - Skigebiet Kronplatz*

https://buchung.hochschulsport-potsdam.de/angebote/aktueller_zeitraum/_Skikurs_02_-_Issing_-_Skigebiet_Kronplatz_.html
Beschreibung anzeigen

The idyllic village of Issing is located in the Puster Valley in South Tyrol. After a bus journey of approximately 13 km, you can reach the villages of Percha or Reischach, which provide access to the Kronplatz ski area. The heart of the ski resort is a plateau from which the slopes extend in all directions. With a total of 116 km of slopes (23.9 km difficult, 42.7 km intermediate, and 49.4 km easy), you can ski down to the towns of Bruneck, Olang, and St. Vigil. Thanks to state-of-the-art snowmaking systems, excellent and consistent snow conditions are guaranteed.

The three fun parks in the ski area provide additional entertainment. The Kronplatz Snowpark, located between the Belvedere and Plateau slopes at an altitude of 2,230 metres, features an Easy Line, a Medium Rail Line, a Medium Kicker Line, and a Family Fun Line. The Korer Park, near the Bruneck/Reischach valley station, also offers plenty of fun with its various boxes. In the Kids Safety Park, below the Alpen mountain station, even the adults can feel like kids again as they navigate the slalom course with banked turns and tunnels.  Issing is part of the municipality of Pfalzen, where various shops and other amenities are within easy walking distance. At Pension Grünbacher, we recharge our batteries after a long day on the slopes. Our cosy accommodation offers rooms for 2?4 guests, with two rooms sharing one bathroom. We enjoy delicious South Tyrolean cuisine prepared in-house every morning and evening. Vegetarian meals are available, although the selection is rather limited and usually consists mainly of side dishes. Drinks can be purchased from the hostess at the bar in the evening.  The cosy dining room can also be used as a lounge and common area. The guesthouse also features a beautifully designed sauna area, which is available for an additional charge. A separate relaxation room is provided, along with tea and water.  In the neighbouring village, there is an opportunity to go snow tubing on large inflatable tubes or to visit a facility for ice stock sport. If possible, a torch-lit hike through the forest to the neighbouring village will also be organised.

The Ötztal Valley stretches between the impressive Stubai and Ötztal Alps and is home to Tyrol’s highest mountain, the Wildspitze, which rises to 3,774 metres. Shortly after Sölden, a narrow mountain road winds its way up into the Vent Valley, where the idyllic mountain village of Vent is located. At the entrance to the village, the family-run Hotel Kleon offers comfortable accommodation and a welcoming atmosphere. Every morning, guests can enjoy a rich and varied breakfast buffet, while dinner consists of a delicious three-course meal with a salad buffet. The hotel also has a small sauna, which can be used free of charge, separate common rooms and Wi-Fi in the lobby. The spacious apartments accommodate four people and feature a small kitchen, a modern bathroom with a bathtub and, in most cases, a balcony with views of the Talleitspitze. Depending on availability, double rooms can also be booked locally for an additional charge.

Vent itself has a small ski area as well as an illuminated night-toboggan run. Above the village are the Rofenhöfe farms, the highest permanently inhabited mountain farms in Austria. A visit is well worth it, offering spectacular alpine scenery, homemade schnapps and an adventurous suspension bridge spanning a narrow, deep gorge, which is beautifully illuminated in the evening. Every morning, the ski bus leaves directly from in front of the hotel and takes guests to Sölden, one of Austria’s most famous winter sports resorts. Sölden offers three impressive peaks over 3,000 metres, two glaciers – the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers – and a total of 145 kilometres of varied pistes. The lifts and gondolas are modern and designed to handle large numbers of skiers, so long waiting times are uncommon. The longest run is 15 kilometres long and descends almost 2,000 metres in altitude. With its wide variety of slopes and excellent snow conditions, Sölden offers plenty of fun for both skiers and snowboarders. The team particularly recommends the combination of staying in one of Tyrol’s highest villages in a sports hotel with varied meals and enjoying the excellent snowboarding opportunities in Sölden. The Boarder-X, fun park and mogul slopes provide plenty of variety, while the glaciers ensure reliable snow conditions throughout the season.

The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn offers skiing at the highest level and, with 270 kilometres of pistes, is one of the largest ski areas in Austria. There are seemingly endless slopes, snow-covered mountainsides and a fascinating panoramic landscape.

The village of Saalbach is located in the valley at an altitude of around 1,000 metres, while the accommodation is situated slightly higher up the mountain, directly on the ski slope. On both sides of the valley, lifts take you up to the mountain peaks at heights of up to around 2,100 metres. Thanks to extensive snowmaking facilities throughout the ski area, there is a high level of snow reliability until mid-April. After fresh snowfall, powder enthusiasts can enjoy the secured freeride routes in Fieberbrunn, a renowned freeride hotspot. The ski area also offers night skiing, night tobogganing, several fun parks and slalom courses.

Whether on the mountain, in the valley or in the clubs in the village, there are plenty of après-ski options for everyone. They are all easily accessible by taxi. If you prefer to end the day in a more relaxed way, you can enjoy a hot chocolate in the sunshine in front of one of the cosy mountain huts near the accommodation and then ski back to the accommodation at your leisure.

At the Wölflbauer holiday farm, guests are warmly welcomed by the Eder family and treated to products from their own farm. The lovingly designed and well-maintained property offers rooms for two to six people, some of which are equipped with bunk beds. All rooms have a private shower and toilet. Several common rooms, a table tennis room and a TV area provide plenty of opportunities for entertainment and relaxation. The entire property is exclusively available to the group.

Roundnet - Spikeball (INDOOR)

https://buchung.hochschulsport-potsdam.de/angebote/aktueller_zeitraum/_Roundnet_-_Spikeball__INDOOR_.html
Beschreibung anzeigen

Gesamter Kurszeitraum:

Looking for a new sport that challenges not only your physical abilities but also your cognitive skills? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Roundnet (also known by the brand name “Spikeball”) is similar to the familiar game of volleyball and combines tactical thinking, fair play, coordination, and ball skills. The basic idea is simple: two teams of two players try to hit the ball with their hands onto the circular net on the ground in such a way that the opposing team cannot return it.

Game-based course:

Get ready for exciting rallies and plenty of fair play! The focus is firmly on playing and spending time at the net. You can of course switch between skill levels during the semester. The beginner and advanced levels are intended as a general guide only and can be adjusted at any time as your skills improve.

And, as always,
fun is guaranteed!
