Wendo feminist self-defense is a feminist method that combines practical voice and body exercises for self-defense practices, martial arts techniques, and Wen-Do, along with theatrical techniques inspired by the Theater of the Oppressed. This approach challenges internalized gender norms through body movement, diction, voice techniques, and role-playing, empowering participants to regain self-confidence and take control of their own safety. The Feminist Self-Defense Wendo training at TU was designed to combat feelings of helplessness, low self-esteem, and structural oppression while equipping participants with the skills to recognize and respond to violent situations in daily life.Training will last 1,5 hours and be held in English.Bitte mitbringenYou will need comfortable clothes (sport pants, sneakers, etc.).
