Die Bachata ist ein lateinamerikanischer Paartanz, der traditionell aus der Dominikanischen Republik kommt. Anfang der 2000er hat sich der Tanz auf der ganzen Welt verbreitet und ist in einer abgewandelten Form in Spanien populär geworden. Im Bachata Sensual werden die Schritte und Figuren von Bachata im Original und Bachata Moderna um fließende, runde Oberkörper- und Hüftbewegungen ergänzt. Typisch für diesen Stil sind die Body Wave sowie Oberkörper- und Hüftkreise. Auch Headrolls und der Cambré sind Teil des Stils. Charakteristisch ist die Bolero-Technik, das „Hochatmen“, das sich durch den gesamten Tanz zieht. Mit der Popularität von Bachata Sensual hat sich auch die Musiklandschaft verändert - die Songs, die von Bachata Sensual Tänzer*innen betanzt oder für diesen Stil produziert werden, weisen oft viele Merkmale von Popmusik auf. Bachata Sensual Musik ist meist langsamer als das dominikanische Original. Die typischen Bachata Instrumente rücken in den Hintergrund und die Stimme des Sängers oder der Sängerin ist sehr präsent.

Level 1:
Dieser Kurs richtet sich an alle, die Freude am Tanzen haben und diesen Tanzstil für sich entdecken wollen. Hier lernt ihr die grundlegenden Bewegungsabläufe, das Timing und verschiedene Figurenkombinationen. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf dem Tanzen im Rhythmus und der Entwicklung des Gefühls für den Tanz.

Level 2:
In diesem Kurs solltest du die grundlegenden Bewegungsabläufe bereits kennen. Es werden weitere Figuren eingeführt und komplexere Bewegungsabläufe erlernt.

Hinweise:


Saubere Wechselschuhe ohne Absätze sind Pflicht! Es darf nicht in Straßenschuhen getanzt werden.

Die Kursleitenden sind berechtigt, Teilnehmende ohne Eignung für die entsprechende Niveaustufe in eine andere Gruppe umzuleiten.

Du kannst dich sowohl paarweise als auch einzeln anmelden.

Wenn du als Leader teilnehmen möchtest, dann melde dich bitte als "Mann" an und wenn du Follower sein möchtest, dann als "Frau".

Bachata is a Latin American partner dance that traditionally originates from the Dominican Republic. In the early 2000s, the dance spread around the world and gained popularity in Spain in a modified form. Bachata Sensual builds on the steps and figures of traditional Bachata and Bachata Moderna, incorporating fluid, circular movements of the upper body and hips. Typical elements of this style include body waves, upper-body and hip circles, as well as head rolls and the cambré. Another characteristic feature is the Bolero technique, known as “breathing up”, which runs throughout the dance. The growing popularity of Bachata Sensual has also influenced the music scene. Songs danced to by Bachata Sensual dancers, or specifically produced for this style, often incorporate many elements of pop music. Bachata Sensual music is generally slower than traditional Dominican Bachata. The typical Bachata instruments take a back seat, while the singer’s voice is much more prominent.

Level 1:
This class is aimed at anyone who enjoys dancing and wants to discover this dance style. You will learn the basic movements, timing and various combinations of dance figures. A particular focus is placed on dancing to the rhythm and developing a feel for the music and the dance.

Level 2:
You should already be familiar with the basic movements before joining this class. You will learn additional figures and explore more complex movement patterns.

Notes:


    Clean indoor dance shoes without heels are mandatory! Dancing in outdoor shoes is not permitted.

    The instructors reserve the right to move participants to a different group if their skill level is not suitable for the respective class level.

    You can register either with a partner or on your own.

    If you would like to take the Leader role, please register as “Male”. If you would like to take the Follower role, please register as “Female”.

Er zeichnet sich durch flüssige Bewegungen, elegante Drehungen und komplexere Tanzmuster aus.

Level 1:
Dieser Kurs richtet sich an alle, die Freude am Tanzen haben und diesen Tanzstil für sich entdecken wollen. Hier lernt ihr die grundlegenden Bewegungsabläufe, das Timing und verschiedene Figurenkombinationen. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf dem Tanzen im Rhythmus und der Entwicklung des Gefühls für den Tanz.

Level 2:
In diesem Kurs solltest du die grundlegenden Bewegungsabläufe bereits kennen. Es werden weitere Figuren eingeführt und etwas komplexere Bewegungsabläufe erlernt.

Level 3:
In diesem Kurs solltest du die Bodywave sicher beherrschen und bereits an mindestens einem Level 2 Kurs teilgenommen haben.

It is a fusion of traditional Bachata with elements of other Latin American dances, such as Salsa and Tango. It is characterised by fluid movements, elegant turns and more complex dance patterns.

Level 1:
This class is aimed at anyone who enjoys dancing and wants to discover this dance style. You will learn the basic movements, timing and various combinations of dance figures. A particular focus is placed on dancing to the rhythm and developing a feel for the music and the dance.

Level 2:
You should already be familiar with the basic movements before joining this class. You will learn additional figures and explore more complex movement patterns.

Level 3:
You should be confident performing the body wave and have already attended at least one Level 2 class.

Registering with a partner is recommended but not required. However, if you register individually, we cannot guarantee your preferred dance role (Leader/Follower).
